Abstract The effective evaluation of loads acting on a vehicle is fundamental challenge in several engineering applications. Where possible, instruments such as load cells are used for direct measurement these loads, otherwise local strain measurements can provide an indirect determination forces or pressures reaction. In this case, adequate number proper location required to achieve correct measurements, using pseudo inverse method. the present work, variation classical method applied calculation from deformation data presented automotive applications, particular case reduced detected deformations number, lower than necessary determined by static equilibrium. Finally, tested real study, where aerodynamic downforce generated rear wing high-performance car measured.
